Hyperbolic Geometry : Counting, Rigidity.

• Description: This workshop entitled Counting, rigidity, is  a part of the NLAGA Project. Actually it is related to the Task 10, in collaboration with the Laboratory of Geometry and Applications of university Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar. The two invited lecturers  were Barbara Schapira, Associate professor  at the University of Jule Verne of Amiens (France) and Gilles Courtois, Research Director of CNRS at the University Pierre et Marie Curie of Paris, in France. Two courses were offered during the week. The first one "Counting of orbits" has been done by Dr Barbara Schapira and the second one "Mostow's Rigidity by DR. Giles Gourtois.

  As an outcome of this workshop, three students have taken the subjects  to do master theses linked to these courses in order to do PhD thèses in this area.

  Chapter 1 : Introduction to hyperbolic geometry
  Chapter 2 : Notions on  the Counting and strategies
  Chapter 3 : Construction in the sensé of Patterson-Sullivan and properties

  Course II :
  Chapter 1 : Hyperbolic surface
  Chapter 2 : Mostow’s Theorem
